Diet Tips

  • Drink plenty of water or other calorie-free non soft drinks beverages.
  • If you think your hungry, wait five minutes to see if you are still hungry.
  • If you still think you are hungry, ask yourself if it is physical or mental. Chances are you may just think you are hungry because you are bored, thirsty or it is just a particular time of day.
  • Don't eat 3 hours prior to going to bed. Have a cut off time where you brush your teeth and tell yourself no more.
  • Still craving a certain food? Have that single bite and sabatoge the rest- pour pepper on it or put it in the trash.
  • Consider eating several mini-meals during the day rather than 3 big ones. Experts say that the constant levels can keep you feeling full.
  • Keep healthy snacks convenient.
  • Consider ordering off of the children's menu for a smaller portion or ask the wait staff for a salad alternative to a side.
