Clean out your fridge!

It's time to clean out your fridge. This means take everything out and wipe down the shelves. You fridge manufacturer probably has some suggested cleaning agents in the manual so cosule that. This is a good time to adjust shelf heights to levels that are better suited to your purchases.

You'll want to prepare by wearing gloves and having several large garbage sacks nearby.

Before you put items back, think about your organization strategy. You'll want the tallest items put back on the tallest shelf and quick to find items in the door.

Be prepared to throw stuff away. Start with throwing away items with bad dates. The migrate to the ugly- that is items growing things such as white fuzz.

Any smart dieter will take advantage of the opportunity to throw away those unneeded calories. If you keep it you'll eat it. This includes high sugar and high fat items.

This is a good time to make a spot for the new fruits and vegetables that you intend to start eating this year. Also, items that will help you make a quick meat rather than graze while you are thinking about what you'll have. Deli meats are a good option. Also, make room for a jug of water. This will help you stick to that resolution.

You'll be happy when your fridge is clean and organized. You'll probably burn a few calories while in the process too.
