Get Active in your Daily Life
Here are some tips on how to work it into your day.
1. Use the stairs instead of the elevator/escalator.
2. Park far away in the lot.
3. Clean your house.
4. Walk your dog on a daily basis.
5. Consider other modes of transportation or how you can work a walk in as part of the route.
6. Make a list of things that you have been meaning to get done. When you are hungry between meals, consider knocking the list out.
7. Get up and walk around during commercials.
8. Wake up early to get that extra task done.
9. Consider gardening or taking up a new hobby.
10. Involve those around you in becoming more active.
