  • Get plenty of sleep. This gets easy as you increase your activity.
  • Work extra activity into your day. Bypass the escalator or elevator for the steps. Park further away from the entrance. Ride your bike to the drug store.
  • Learn how to forgive yourself and get back on track when you miss a workout or slip.
  • Set accomplishable goals and make new ones. Think of it as climbing up stairs.
